A settlement of about 300 souls, in the southeastern part of Cass County, 20 miles from Fargo (court house), on the N. P. Ry., the nearest railroad point. It is on the line of the extension of the St. P., M. & M. Ry., has a flouring-mill, driven by power from the Cheyenne river, a Lutheran Church, and Norwegian and English schools. Semi-weekly mail stage to Fargo and Bonnersville. A. Boderna, postmaster.
